On Friday the 4th of March ,Melbournes leading choro group Trio Agogo will celebrate Brazils annual Carnaval at Rue Bebelons at 267 Little Lonsdale .If you can`t make Friday or want your double dose of Carnaval fun, be at 1000 Pound Bend,also on Little Lonsdale, at 5p.m on Saturday the 5th for Carnaval Craziness with AgoBloco. Bring a friend,a costume and a thirst and cut loose on the streets of Melbourne to the Carnaval sounds of Marchinhas. Complete the Carnaval trinity at Pure Pop Records on Sunday the 6th for the Roda de Choro after party party from 1p.m.Trio Agogo bringing Melbourne the best of Brazil Carnaval 2011!

Atlanta ,Georgia, based guitarist Peter Stroud  has been the lead guitarist with Sheryl Crow for over 10 years. Prior to joining Sheryl’s band, Peter toured and recorded with Pete Droge & The Sinners. In 2000 he joined Don Henley for the “Inside Job” tour. He has recorded with Stevie Nicks, The Dixie Chicks, The Wallflowers, and more recently with Shawn Mullins and Michelle Malone. Alongside of his performing career, Peter is co-founded 65amps with close friend Dan Boul.
